DuoDVRViP 722k Reviews
“The Dish Network ViP622 and 722 are among the most fully featured and versatile high-def DVRs you can buy today,” David Katzmaier, CNET Reviews.
The ViP 722k was given the CNET Editors’ Choice in February 2008. Their editors raved about the DVR’s ability to record new MPEG-4 AVC programming, which includes local and some HD channels that are not available on older DISH receivers. They were also impressed with the 30-second commercial skip feature and the “exceedingly quick response time.” The already-sizable hard drive can be expanded externally by connecting hard drives and portable media players via the DVR’s USB port.
